Historical Approach to “American History” Graphic Organizer

Summary of Third Quarter

 

In two weeks I read a story called “American History” about a young girl named Elena .
Elena is a girl humiliated by black girls but then she became interested in a boy
named Eugene .In the same day the president  was assassinated and everyone was
surprised by that. I also learned some interesting words like element, conduct, and
resourced. So that’s what I learned in this two weeks. I also learn how use Google docs
and I participated in online discussion.

“American History” Narrative

My name is Elena and I am in nine grade and I have 14 years old.I remember well the day when  the president was killed, and all the people were surprised. That the same day my PE teacher  told us to play over there but I didn’t  like because were some black girls hurting me and humiliating me until I cried. But the most beautiful thing I remember is when I met Eugene. Eugene was so cute for me so I asked a lot for him until one day I dared to speak him and of course he smiled me. I began to study with him in the library or we walked together to our houses. One day I was going to study with him but my mom did not like that idea because the president died so I had to show respect for his death.But I went to Eugen’s house. Suddenly when I was touching the door his mother opened the door but she did not want me to study with Eugene. She asked me the favor to go home. I was shocked because she did not like me with Eugene so I began to cry but not by the president’s death. I began to cry for what had happened to me with the Eugene’s mom.
